Have been in prison for 18 months for car accident - no previous convictions - where can I emigrate to?

I am going to college shortly to become a tutor teaching adults to read and write. I also have over 20 years legal exeperience both as a personal istant and fee earner. I want to leave the UK but am unsure where to go now that I have a conviction against me - can anyone tell me how restricted I will now be. I'm not really interested in places like the USA or Australia. I lived in Zimbabwe for many years also.
