PS2 Slim not playing games?

Okay. I've looked it up on google, there are like, 20+ People that asked the same question on just the first page of google search. My PS2 Slim decided to stop working overnight, and Ta da! Never worked again. I'm guessing something like too dirty, scratched disks. But no, none of my games work, at first Final Fantasy 10, which is by far, one of the games in best condition I have, worked. But then, it takes like, 50 retries for it to work, and I've tried again over a 100 times and it didn't work. [[Note: The numbers AREN'T exaggerations, they are actual numbers.]] Anyway, I really don't know what to do. At first it wasn't a problem... But then, when they stopped making PS3's that can read ps2 games, I got really pissed. I want to get this thing fixed, cause now even if I buy a PS3 it wont be able to play my old games, and yeahh, I don't want that happening.
