Someone HELP. What is wrong with my dog? (Repost) please.?

My first thought is that he grabbed something while your back was turned such as a small stick. The blood indicates that he has a small amount of bleeding in his throat or stomach so something has irritated the lining. Other possibilties: ulcer, fiber from carpet or other source damaged his intestines (longer nylon and synthetic fibers can cut into the intestines as they move through it), he ate something rancid, worms (unlikely). Thank you for getting him to the vet--its the best option with his symptoms. Learn how to take his temp. for the future. And check his gums--if they are white or pale it is serious and the dog needs to see the vet ASAP. It also is good to count his respirations and heart beats (get a baseline when he is healthy to compare it when he is off color.) All this information will help you know when you have a serious problem at hand.
