What are the experience of work with a dementia patient?

It depends on the patient and the extent of the dementia. My father has Alzheimers and lives in isted living. He can still dress and bathe himself and enjoy visits from family. The nurses at the facility adore him because he's a pleasant, cooperative patient. Not every patient is like that, of course, because there's a wide range of behaviors with a dementia patient.
