Do they have WIC (or equivalent) in Canada?

In the US, I know we have a program - WIC - to help mothers and children who need istance for food. Is there a program like that in Canada? If so, what's it called? Any other information would be appreciated. I'm not asking for any person, but to get information for a story I'm writing. Thanks.
