Umbilical cord around babies neck during the last trimester?

My dr said my baby has her umbilical cord around her neck. i am around 35-37 weeks pregnant. Dr said that I could deliver w/ out having a c section but i do have the choice to deliver normally. I am considering the c section. any suggestions or experiences. thanks
