Why did my engine do this?

I was traveling at 110 Km on the highway and all of a sudden my engine just died, no sputtering or anything. For the past year my ignition hasn't been working so I've been jumping it with a screw driver and that's what I did today after waiting 5 minutes and it started normally. 1500 calorie diet...yet gaining weight?

Why is my 1998 chevy k1500 4x4 5.7 not hitting a ping gear and sputtering?

i have a 1998 chevrolet k1500, it will not kick into a ping gear and it sputters real bad, going up a hill i have to manually shift it to make the RPMs rev up get enuff speed to get goin, i changed the plug,wires,cap and rotor, new distributor, one thing i am thinking is i took the truck to the shop and had them cut the exhaust off to run true dual straight pipes, they took the cats off and unplugged the o2 sensors on the exhaust, so i have no o2 sensors on the pipes... would my pipes the way they are now have anything to do with the way its running or is that the main problem?. i have tried everythingfrom filters to ignition problems and still nothing, buta freind of mine told me if i dont have o2 sensors that that would be a big problem?

Why is photoshop printing small black dots on paper when I make a white background?

I made a picture with Adobe Photoshop cs2, and when I print it out on paper, the white background has some little tiny black dots where it is supposed to be pure white. The background is clean and white on photoshop, so why is it printing like this with black dots? I am printing it from photoshop as a .psd , but I don't think thats the reason. Do I have to save it first as a high quality jpg or something to get rid of the dots that are being printed? The dots themselves do not stand out too much, however, when you look closely you can see them, and if you compare it to a pure white sheet of paper you can see the difference.

Hey! I need some help with skateboarding. I have a huge fear of doing new things, But I don't want to quit. Skip the LPN. An LPN program lasts a year, sometimes longer, and then you'd have to go back to school to bridge to an RN. You can become an RN in 2 years if you get an ociate's degree. In the long run I believe it's cheaper and less of a hle.

My 2 year old has a virus, possibly hf&m disease but since he is not breaking out on his hands and feet, they are thinking it is probably the cold sore virus making its first appearance. It depends on the patient and the extent of the dementia. My father has Alzheimers and lives in isted living. He can still dress and bathe himself and enjoy visits from family. The nurses at the facility adore him because he's a pleasant, cooperative patient. Not every patient is like that, of course, because there's a wide range of behaviors with a dementia patient.

Why am I no longer a happy person?

I used to always be a happy person but lately that's changed. I'm no longer a happy person like I used to be. Looking back on it I don't even understand why I used to be happy. My life sucked then and it sucks now. Little has changed but somehow I used to manage to be a happy person. I don't have many friends partly because I'm not very outgoing and partly because I always manage to find the faults in people and can't stop focusing on the negative. There are very few people that I even want to be friends with. In high school I rarely went out on the weekends but it didn't bother me that much. My dogs jaw is inflamed and she can barely open her mouth. The vet has no idea what's wrong? Anyone had this?

They have done x-rays, etc. but don't know what's causing it. They put her on a really high dose of prednisone and after 2 days all of the muscles in her face have wasted away and it is just a bony skull. It's all about your transcripts. Gotta have good grades for these schools. Also, make sure you note in your application that you switched schools, because they will take into account the inconsistencies. Just because you were in 20+ clubs throughout the four years doesn't guarantee anything. However, if you were in the same 3 clubs for 4 years and held leadership positions in them, that's what they look for. Best advice, call the the schools and ask them yourself. I'm enrolled in college currently, and still bother the admissions department constantly. They get paid to answer your questions.

Hi, I have mntal illness and for a good few years suffered acute OCD where germs were my main phobia. I have recovered from that now but still have to be very careful I don't slip back into it as it almost killed me. My boyfriend and I have had a rough time and were just starting to get on our feet, he has had many recent deaths in his immediate family and has been strong but I can see he is at breaking point. His brother recently was rushd to hospital and they discovered he had cryptococcal meningitis the type ociatd with AIDS. My boyfriend aftr all he has just been through now had to face the fact that his brothr has AIDS and may die from this AIDS related illness. He is so hurt and I am finding that I am unable to be ther for him. I know he does not have aids and he needs me so bad but I have found that my mind will not physically let me touch my boyfriend because his brother has AIDS. I try to comfort him but can smell illness on him, he looks sick (he is just stressed but looks ill to me) and each time I see him now I feel nausiated and disgusted even though it is not him that has AIDS and evn though I know it is wrong to fl that way and be prejudice about anyone with AIDS. How do I fix my old minibike engine?

I bought a baja mini back in 2008 and it died after a week... Now a few years later I have decided to fix it but first I need the engine to run well... this engine has several issues and at least try to answer 1...... so here we go... #1 The engine will only run if I have the choke all the way on and will die as soon as I take it off. #2 Gas will not stop leaking out of the carburetor and I have checked everything!!!#3 If I try to idle it at all it will immediately die on me#4 The rpms keep going up and down and wont stay constant unless I go full throttle!!! The blood indicates that he has a small amount of bleeding in his throat or stomach so something has irritated the lining. Other possibilties: ulcer, fiber from carpet or other source damaged his intestines (longer nylon and synthetic fibers can cut into the intestines as they move through it), he ate something rancid, worms (unlikely). Thank you for getting him to the vet--its the best option with his symptoms. Learn how to take his temp. for the future. And check his gums--if they are white or pale it is serious and the dog needs to see the vet ASAP. It also is good to count his respirations and heart beats (get a baseline when he is healthy to compare it when he is off color.) All this information will help you know when you have a serious problem at hand.

Beowulf the movie, does it go exactly by the epic poem?

The movie stays closer to the epic peom than similar movies like Troy, which I found dissapointing. It does bring a new element between Beowulf and Grendel's mom. We do get glimpses that Grendel's mom's true form is not the y miss Jolie but an ugly lizard type creature. In the origonal epic Beowulf doesn't use weapons or armor to fight Grendel because Grendel doesn't and he wants it to be a fair fight. The movie just takes it a step further and Beowulf discards all his clothing. I read Beowulf a few months before seeing the movie and I loved the movie. It stays as true to the original as you can really expect a movie to. They do mention christianity as the "new Roman religion" but are unfamiliar with it and say "Christjessus" like it's one word. Also don't spend 7 dollars. Spend 11 and see the 3-D version, it's totally worth it.

Cannot afford Neupogen. What can I do?

My grandmother started her first Chemotherapy session last week. Unfortunately she wasn't told she would need a drug called Neupogen as part of treatment--they simply gave her the script to fill afterward. The pharmacy did not carry it nor will her insurance cover any portion of it. She was told she must pay $6,000 up front for any help. What can I do to help? Doctors arent returning phone calls, hospitals patient advocates also not returning calls. I understand there is an alternative medication that can be taken daily rather than the single neupogen shots between chemo sessions---however the doctor won't give that script. I'm trying to help from a whole different state than where my grandmother lives! She is currently trying to get medicare part B. In the meantime, more and more time is ping that she needs this drug...she should have taken it last week. Besides going to the ER what can she do?

Help with my push lawn mower?

okay, so i just bought a house a month or so ago and cut the gr 3 or 4 times already. Well i go to use the lawn mower this time and started cutting the gr and about 5mins later it sounded like it was going to die and turn off but it didn't just idled really low and then it would surge back to full power for a few seconds then go back down. I think it might be the carburetor (sp??) not sure though. Brought it to a mower place by my house last week and they are jerking my chain and said it be fixed by sat. Its now monday and i have no lawn mower. So idk what to do, i want to fix it myself if they wont. Hope you can help just by the description i said about it.
