What should I get my FtM boyfriend for our 1 year anniversary?

My boyfriend and I will have been going out for 1 year next week. He is FtM which means he is biologically female. He hasn't gone through any surgeries and hasn't started testosterone therapy yet. I have no idea what to get him but I want it to be special. Neither of us have ever been with someone this long. I'm not very good at picking out gifts and such in general. Any suggestions?
